Born on March 21, 1945 in Poughkeepsie, he was the son of the late Dean A. Williams
and Mary E (Shaw) Williams.
Mr. Williams was employed with the City of Poughkeepsie and The Poughkeepsie City
School System until his retirement in 2011, in the position of Senior Micro-Computer Technician. He was a true lover of the arts and as an avid guitarist, music was his passion. He was a great supporter of animal rights and care.
Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Susan M (Terpening) Williams, his eldest brother, Allan F. Williams, his younger brother, Terrence R., and sister-in-law, Ann M. Williams. He is also survived by his aunt, Eileen Shaw, and his nieces and nephews include Shauna and Paula Williams, Matthew and Sarah Terpening, and Dylan Longi, as well as several cousins.
There are no calling hours. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in the family plot in Rhinebeck, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to the local SPCA of Dutchess County, 636 Violet Ave., Hyde Park NY, 12538
