Resided in Rhinebeck, NY

Kevin C. Moshier, 62, died peacefully at Ferncliff Nursing Home in Rhinebeck, NY on July 23, 2017 after much time spent with close friends and family.
Kevin was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on December 28, 1954 to parents, Edward and Jean Moshier. He and his siblings, Mike, Pat, Kathy, Mary and Maureen, spent a happy childhood in Hyde Park, where he remained throughout his life.
After graduating from FDR High School, Kevin received an Associate’s Degree from Dutchess Community College in HVAC. He worked for various companies over the years as a sales/service technician.
Kevin and his wife, Stephanie, had an immediate attraction and married soon after first meeting in 1980. They chose to reside in the Hudson Valley to raise their daughters, Jenna and Erin, amongst their family and close friends.
Kevin was a strong athlete, excelling in H.S. football, as well as adult fast pitch softball with his brothers at the Red Rooster. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing at Brown’s Pond and hunting with long time friends.
Whether he was watching his girls on the sports field or spending holidays and special occasions with his extended family, the love and support of those close to him mattered most to Kevin.
He is pre-deceased by his wife, Stephanie, who lovingly cared for him during many years of illness, as well as his younger sisters, Mary and Maureen, and his parents.
He is survived by his two daughters, Jenna Moshier and Erin Moshier (Michael); his grandchildren, Violet and Davis; his siblings, Mike (Susie), Pat (Sue), Kathy (Ray); as well as many incredibly close extended family members.
The family would like to thank Ferncliff Nursing Home for their outstanding care of Kevin the last two years and especially during his final days.
