Obituary for Timothy W. Losee

Timothy W. Losee, 67, a longtime area resident, died on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Westchester Medical Center in Mount Pleasant.

Born on October 16, 1950 in Rhinebeck, he was the son of the late Ashleigh and Ruth (Wade) Losee.

Timothy proudly served in the United States Navy from 1971-1975. He was a radioman on the USS Garcia.

For over 10 years, he worked as an electrician with Veith Electric in Poughkeepsie.

Timothy was an avid sportsman. He loved to watch, and attend, NASCAR races, and he enjoyed fishing and golfing.

On September 25, 1993, in Marlboro, he married the former Deidra Hiesel. Mrs. Losee currently survives at home in Hyde Park.

In addition to his wife, Timothy is survived by son, Timothy Paul Losee, of Hyde Park; sister, Patricia Brethauer, and her husband, Andrew, of Wilmington, NC; sister, Priscilla Losee, and her longtime companion, Bob Bussiere, of Florida; sister, Penelope Murphy, of Wells, Maine; brother, Theodore Losee, of New Hampshire; brother, Matthew Losee, of Maine; and several niece, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Timothy was predeceased by his parents and by one son, Charles Wade.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Calling hours will be from 1-4pm on Saturday, February 3rd at Sweet’s Funeral Home, Route 9, Hyde Park.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
